NBTC accepted the EN 303 687 V1.1.1 or Newer Standards for WiFi6E and WiFi 7 from November 15, 2024
The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) of Thailand has updated the Technical Standard NBTC TS 1039-2566 for telecommunication equipment using the frequency range of 5.925-6.425GHz. This update was published on November 14, 2024, and took effect from November 15, 2024. The change includes in power spectral density and acceptance of ETSI EN standard.
Previously, only RF test reports based on FCC part 15.407 were accepted for WiFi 6E and WiFi 7 applications. Now, reports based on ETSI EN 303687 V1.1.1 or newer are also accepted.

Thailand NBTC announce a new test standard TS 1039-2566 for frequency band 5925-6425 MHz
On April 28, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Thailand announced a new test standard, TS 1039-2566, for telecommunication equipment and radiocommunication equipment that use the frequency band 5925-6425 MHz. For 5925-6425 MHz applications, such as WIFI 6E, the SDoC scheme will apply. This means that RF, EMF, or SAR reports and safety reports will be required. Please note that for indoor and outdoor use with an output power of 25 mW, EMF/SAR test reports may be exempted.
